Introduction blog post 2020.

This year I'm in Kaupeka 2020 and I'll will be telling you what I'm most looking forward to this year, what my hopes are for this year and what I what I did in the holidays. What I'm most looking forward to this year is the fair, the fair has lots of fun games locked and loaded. We also have to make a game for the fair. What my hopes are for this year is to get into fuzzy tree tops, and extend myself and push myself harder in everything I do.

My most joyful moment that I did in the holidays was when we went to Oceans bay, it was so fun we also met some friends along the way including Joey and Max. at Oceans bay we did a lot of swimming, we also got a puppy and we named her Indy, that was the best part of my holidays.

For this ship journey I need to take ten different items of food to survive my journey, for this journey I would like to take lots of different foods including, protein, fruit & veges, carbohydrates and calcium plus a little sweets. this means I will stay healthy and fit on my journey. 

1. for protein I the first thing I chose to take was beef jerky. the reason why I chose beef jerky is because it packs a lot of protein and it lasts for a while.  it tastes really good and is a dried meat so doesn't need a fridge or freezer.  
2. for protein the next thing in chose is tinned tuna. tinned tuna is really good for you as its high in protein and will last much longer than other foods. its easy to store and easy to open and eat. it tastes great
3. for protein the last thing I have chosen to take is nuts because there is a large variety to chose from. they are simple and good to eat. they also last quite a long time. they are very healthy to eat. 
4. for carbohydrates the first thing I chose to take is bread mix. the reason I chose bread mix is because it is easy and simple to make just by adding water, as i'm on the boat water is easy to get. carbohydrates give me energy so I wont be as tired on the boat. 
5. the next carbohydrate I have chosen to take is rice. rice is easy to make and it goes a long way so you don't need to keep cooking rice over and over. rice is also packed with a lot of carbohydrates. it tastes yummy and it would go well with my protein choices. 
6. the next carbohydrate i'm taking is potatoes. potatoes can be made into lots of different foods like potato chips, hot chips, mashed potatoes and hash browns. potatoes are also vegetables and vegetables are good for me helping me stay healthy. 
7. the next thing i'm taking is a fruit and that is a coconut. I chose a coconut because it can be a drink and a food. it will be easy to keep for a long time. fruit gives you natural sugars so that is good for me. now that I have my fruit and vegetables it means I can get my 5+ a day. 
8. the next thing i would take is tomato sauce because I cant have potatoes without tomato sauce. it has lots of sugars and also tomatoes too. 
9.  the next thing I will take is multi vitamins. I chose multi vitamins because it packs a lot of different vitamins and minerals which are really good for you. that means it will help me to not get sick on the ship because of the multi vitamins. also means I don't have to take as much fruit. 
10. for sweets/calcium I chose to take chocolate because chocolate tastes really good and it has lots of sugar to give me energy plus it has calcium to help my bones stay strong. it also pays to have a treat once and a while.

Me and Lewis just got to school and it was the 29th October and we were going to fairy meed I was so excited, our hub had to leave early in the morning at nine. when we arrived at fairy meed and the first the person talked to us about was that ladies go before gentilmen and children can be seen and but not heard. then after that we had to get changed into of our clothes and they were so uncountable and annoying. after we got changed we played a whats in the bag, how you play is there are a few bags and you have to pick one of the bags.

Dear Mrs Earl
The school needs a pool because what if it was like 30 degrees and we are sweating heaps. If the school got a pool we wouldn’t have to go to QE2 for swimming lessons we could just do them at school. If we get a school pool it will be amazing, plus even out of school you will be able. I think that the pool could help the people that do surf life saving they could practice helping people.


Also we would save money for all of the busses we have to go on, and wouldn’t have to pay for all of the lessons. The last thing I’ll talk about is that the pool doesn’t have to be big we can just time table everything so everyone will get a turn in the pool.

Dear jacinda ardern
Climate change, climate change is a big risk to all the humans. And if you don’t do anything about it, I don’t know if we will be in this world any longer. You could start by banning  fuel cars so the gas can’t go in the air and it won't be harder for us to breathe. Another thing is that they should stop doing is stop burning fossil fuels and fires, if I could have anything happen to the world it would be to get rid of climate change, and get rid of it fast.

 Another problem is fire places, fire places release smoke in the air witch can thin the atmosphere and that is not good. Climate change is killing many animals and their habitats, and if we don’t stop climate change then we probably aren’t going to live on this earth any longer.

I think that it is wrong that people think black people can not play rugby I think that you should be able to play rugby know matter what race you are. Rugby is supposed to be a fun and competitive game, not a racist game. Rugby should not go on like this, and we will protest if we must.
