today for my blog I have to write about a story I read chickens aren't the only one, witch means chickens aren't the only ones that lay an egg. I have to write some facts about that book so here are they.
1. chickens aren't the only animals that lay eggs
2. all birds lay eggs
3. ostriches lay the biggest eggs out of all of the birds
4. humming birds lay the smallest eggs out of all of the birds
5. most reptiles lay eggs.
6. animals that don't lay eggs, just have new born babies
Now I have to write so facts about another animal in the book that I read, and I'm going to write some facts about turtles.
1. Many turtle species (not all)of them can hide their heads inside their shells when attacked by predators.
2. turtles are reptiles.
3. turtles have a hard shell that protects them like a shield, witch is called a carapace.

Hi again Archie, that's interesting I didn't know hummingbirds had the smallest eggs. I love birds but I know a few people that are scared of them. There is a fantail in the trees by our house that keeps flying inside - it's happened four times in the past week! Crocodiles also lay eggs don't they?
