Blog post about my culture

Blog post about my culture

I am from new zealand and I have little bit of Australian, England and Ireland blood in me. On Christmas morning we eat hash browns, bacon and eggs. After that we open all of our presses. Finally lots of our family come over we also play lots of games eat lots of nice food and have a BBQ. We like to go to the beach and have fish & chips on the sand. We eat lots of food in New Zealand, our family eats lots of lamb and fish.

On our birthday we only have a birthday party once every two years. We also choose what we have for dinner me and Lewis always  choose butter chicken for dinner. Our family likes to go on holidays with our friends we like to be by the water all the time so we can go searching for paua. We also love to go fishing on a bout to catch different species of fish. Sometimes we like to go camping to explore the outdoors.

On Anzac day we like to remember all the people who have died in the war. Our family like to make Anzac biscuits as well. Waitangi day is when two different cultures come together and signed a treaty we like remember this day. As a family we have lots of friends and family who are maori and we come together and have a good time.

  1. Hi Archie I was wowed by the what you do on christmas and what you do on your birthday. Do you get to choose what you get for tea on your birthday. I find it good that you go to Anzac day to think about what the soldiers did in the war. Next time you should? put more full stops. From Leo
