Reading T3 W9

 Reading 

This week for reading we have been learning about the beatitudes and what they stand for, this is the goal we have been set to achieve, Making connections and Synthesising. This is what my work turned out like this week.

How well can you listen?

 This week for reading we have been learning about how to read instructions and how to read them. We were given three instructions and we had to pick on of them to follow, the one that I picked to follow were about scones, here is what t hey turned out like.

Writing. 

This week for writing we are also learning about instructions but instead of following them we've had to create them, I have created instructions on how to make a paper plane here is what they look like. 

Step:1 First you will need a piece of A4 sized piece of paper, next you will need to rotate the piece of paper until it is landscape, then grab the top of the piece of paper and fold it perfectly in half. 

Step:2 Then rotate the paper till facing portrait, grab the top left corner of the piece of paper and fold it in line of the middle line, do the same for the right corner. 

Step:3 Then fold the piece of paper the opposite way you folded it in the first place. 

Step:4 After you've finished that, grab the top of the folded paper and pull it to the bottom of the plane, repeat on the other side

 

Step:5 Then you'll need to do the same thing, grab the top of the plane and fold it again, you should have a perfect paper plane.

Step:6 Throw the plane trough the air and it should go gliding, now you have yourself a paper plane, here are some pictures.

This week for reading we have been learning about hobbies, and what hobbies we can try and learn and it doesn't matter if your good or bad at it, I have done hobbies to try during lock down. 

That is why you should take a walk today. Are you going to take up baking?

This week for reading we have learned about people that have faced challenges and kept moving forward no matter what is in front of them, for this activity I have chosen to do Albert Einstein, and here is why

Reading T3 W3 

 This week for  reading we have designed a peace sign, dove and more. We had to include pictures or writing of what makes you happy, here is what mine turned out like. 

I think my strongest attribute is physical because I'm good at sports and do lots of it. I think the one I need to work om the most is spiritual because I need to get closer to god.

This week for maths we had identify and sort two and three dimensional shapes into classes, defining properties and justifying the decisions made & relate three-dimensional models to two-dimensional representations, and vice versa. We had to make shapes of our own either on paper or an app. Here are some of my shapes I have made this week.

 MATH!!!

This week for math we are doing translation, reflection, rotation and enlargement we also had to make a Maori pattern. Here are my tasks for these two weeks.
